ABOUT THE ZION TRAVELER CDC

The mission of the Zion Traveler Community Development Corporation (CDC) is to increase social and economic justice, demonstrate compassion and alleviate poverty in the greater Lincoln Parish community as tangible expressions of our faith in God through the vehicle of community development.

REAL ESTATE PHILOSOPHY

 

Through real estate development on the East Side of Ruston, the Zion Traveler CDC strives to serve as a catalyst for the revitalization of new and diverse neighborhoods. With this as a beginning premise, the Zion Traveler CDC will venture beyond traditional models of community development and into an innovative model that centers on revitalization with a holistic and empowering approach.

 

The community revitalization philosophy of the Zion Traveler CDC incorporates for-sale housing products in partnership with the City of Ruston, Grambling State University Facilities Corporation and local  banking institutions. This will include innovative programs for first-time homebuyers, single- and multi-family housing, mixed-income and mixed-use developments.
